Favorite tip: To generate harmonious sets, start with HSL (vary just Hue or just Saturation & Lightness)

Idiosyncrasy: I like memorizing the Hex codes for my favorite palette choices, so when possible I pick letter/number strings that are easier to recall (e.g. #dadade is better than similar options with fewer vowels).

New idea (2021 March 14): Try my airline ticket-code strategy for more difficult strings (e.g. 6 flying kangaroos quietly laugh together = 6FKQLT; do any fees ever equal 6 = #dafee6 for tips & takeaways green in Team 8 report; dolphins always enjoy delight from everyone = #daedfe for parallel blue).
